How to measure your laptop for a laptop bag
With your laptop open, measure the "Screen Size" from the lower left corner to the upper right corner. When a laptop bag description says that the bag will fit screen sizes up to 17" for instance, this measurement must be 17" or less.
Now close the laptop screen and measure the "Width" of your laptop. This is the longest dimension of your laptop from left to right.
With your laptop still closed, measure the height from the bottom to the top, anywhere along the side.
Finally measure the depth from front to back (where the connectors are located).
Use your laptop measurements to compare them to the laptop bag's dimensions (WxHxD) and take note of any screen size limitations also. For example:

• Height: 1.0 inch (2.59 cm)
• Width: 15.25 inches (39.2 cm)
• Depth: 10.4 inches (26.5 cm)
• Screen size= 17" (Wide screen)
